What to Do Next
Activate Your myOneonta Account
All newly admitted students must register for myOneonta. To register, go to the user account page and follow the instructions provided. You will need your Oneonta username and student ID, which can be found in your acceptance letter. Upon paying your deposit ($100 for tuition and $100 for housing), you will use myOneonta to complete your housing questionnaire and application forms and access required student health forms.
Check Your Email
Check your personal and Oneonta emails regularly! Important updates will land in your inbox. Pro tip: if you applied with your school email address, switch to a personal email for better communication. Not seeing our emails? Call Admissions at 1-800-SUNY-123 to get it sorted.
Submit Your Transcripts
Send us your final high school transcript, college transcripts from any/all colleges you have attended, and your AP or IB scores. All documents must be OFFICIAL and sent directly from the schools or testing agencies to the SUNY Oneonta Office of Admissions.

Visit Campus
If you haven’t already visited our beautiful campus, what are you waiting for? We offer tours and information sessions throughout the year, and special events for admitted students every spring. You can visit a class, attend a student panel, have lunch on campus, take a full campus tour, or attend an academic presentation to find out more about the majors you’re interested in. Schedule your visit today!

Academics
Whether you know what you want to study—or you’re ready to explore and find out—Oneonta has plenty of options and lots of support to help you succeed. Once you’ve confirmed your enrollment by paying your deposit, you can complete the course pre-registration survey (available in your Applicant Status Page) to provide information about courses that interest you. We will use the information you provide to create a fall course schedule for you.

Living on Campus
From leadership opportunities to lifelong friends, living on campus will be a big part of your Oneonta experience. With a whole team to welcome you and all kinds of ways to get involved, you’ll feel at home right away. All students living on campus have the Resident Dining Plan, which includes unlimited dining hall access, plus retail dining dollars that can be used at our on-campus coffee shops and marketplace.

Orientation
You will be supported during your transition to campus through orientation sessions, peer mentoring and other programming! All new students are required to participate in orientation.

Paying for College
We understand that applying for financial aid can be a challenge, and we’re here to help! Your first step is to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA Code – 002847; TAP Code – 0930) You’ll receive a financial aid eAward notification and instructions on how to access your award information through myOneonta. Staying Healthy
We offer comprehensive medical care and health education resources at our on-campus Health and Wellness Center, and a variety of counseling services.
