Anthropology students develop the skills and knowledge to address a range of human concerns, drawing on the biological and social sciences and the humanities. You'll choose from courses across the four major Anthropology subfields: Archaeology, Biological Anthropology, Cultural Anthropology and Anthropological Linguistics. About 75% of our students double major, because the study of anthropology complements many disciplines

Hands-On Learning
As an anthropology major, you’ll have many opportunities to learn by doing, including research and teaching assistantships, independent studies, internships and field work. Whether it’s exploring the ruins of Stonehenge during a faculty-led field course or searching for evidence of ancient communities at our summer Archaeological Field School, you'll be able to apply your knowledge and develop your skills.
