
The SUNY Oneonta Student Association is the university's student government, comprised of three coequal branches.
Together, we serve as the liaison between administration, faculty, and students. We sit on external committees where we voice student input on the decisions made that affect all of the campus community and provide services for students on and off campus.
Senate Meetings are Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m. in the Hunt Union Waterfront.
The Student Association office is located on bottom floor of Hunt Union and has open hours: Monday - Friday: 9 a.m.-12 noon a d 1-4:30 p.m.

Mission
The Student Association of The State University of New York at Oneonta is dedicated to fostering and maintaining meaningful relationships between the students, faculty, & administration to be effective in advocating for and allocating resources towards bettering the well-being of the student body.

The Oneonta Student Association strives to promote an inclusive, academic, and social experience that encourages student growth and participation by advancing advocacy, transparency, and communication between the branches of the Student Association, the broader Oneonta community, and the collective student body.
Your Mandatory Student Activity Fee at work
We are funded by the mandatory Student Activity Fee that every student pays and allocates all that back to the students through student services and more!
We fund:
- 120+ Student Run clubs and organizations
- Oneonta Public Transportation Bus system for students to use on and off campus – free with student ID
- Yearbooks for seniors
- Student Run Media – The State Times (newspaper), W.O.N.Y 90.9 (radio station), and WireTV
